chinese female, wants to major in business

any chance in harvard (dream school), other ivies, uchicago...or suggestions?

top ten in nj isn't that much of a big deal... our public school is top 3 in MA. You may have a better chance getting into Princeton. Princton hates whoever applies from my school but Harvard loves them :)

Harvard is really a crapshoot for all candidates. If your SAT score can reflect your PSAT score, then there's no reason why you wouldn't be admitted. You certainly have the credentials, but no one can really tell you what "chance" you have. Good luck.

Harvard only accepts 10% of applicants, short of an Olympic Gold medal, perfect SATs, and a 7 generation legacy, you can't expect you odds to be very high.

I think TASP would be a great addition to your profile. With science club, track and violin, you verge on sounding like the Asian stereotype.

Obviously great stats but you're also Asian and from NJ, those 2 factors really hurt. You're in the Harvard lottery but you have LOTS of competition. Who knows? You need fabulous recs and essays.

You should do really well a wrung down from HYPS. The lower ivies and top LACs look good. But for business you may want to try MIT, Wharton (almost as hard as H though) and Stern for a great match/safety.

hmm suze ur right, i am too stereotypical
which is funny b/c im not even good at science or violin..haha

I've already been accepted at my senator's for an internship either at his office or political campaign...
should i do this and
which one should i do?

If you were to apply to Harvard (assuming that you get a similar score on your SAt), your application would pass the preliminar round because of your high marks and scores. However, I don't see you getting accepted into Harvard. You just seem like a smart individual, but nothing really stands out.

But you have one more year to participate in activities etc. Use it well.
