i am a community college student in southern california. I want to major in political science and I want to transfer to Harvard! I have a high GPA and I was wondering what I would need to get in. In addition how hard is it to transfer there in general? am i screwed?

be extraordinary.

To be slightly more helpful:

Yes, you are screwed, unless you can memorize the first 2,000 digits of Pi in five minutes.

hahahha there we go

if you have a 4.5 gpa, you'll be fine...problem is, you can't get a 4.5....anywhere

dude, i think transferring to a uc/csu is better if u are in ccc.

i'm not sure if ur statement was a joke. it would have been funnier if u said u wanted to transfer to oxford or cambridge or salamanca.

i wanted to transfer to oxford at some point during my CC days.

but i never verbalized that because i knew it was like wanting to transfer to harvard.

That is incorrect. Harvard actually accepts transfers. The notion of transferring to Oxford is like the notion of transferring to Princeton: unintelligible.

i never looked into either. i simply meant that either one is highly unlikely. but apparently oxford just doesnt accept transfers.. unless for second BA.

If he's being facetious, he has a shot.

the problem is not because you want to transfer. the problem is because you are in a comm college.

hahaha...ya i was asking for my friend who jokingly saying that he wanted to go thier...im glad you guys got a kick out of it. turns out hes goin to UCSD
