good enough chances.......

thank you!

looks good to me.....which writing contest did you win that offered a $10,000 scholarship?

are you good enough to play for Harvard? If so, you're an automatic admit I'd say. Otherwise, you have a decent shot--could go either way. Your scores are great, but your rank is not as competitive.

it was a school competition, we got a good amount of money for our school and they decided to have an essay contest for 10,000

between thank you

good chances

thanks, my rank just screws it up so im worried

boobbalahm boo boo

95 average with 70/800? Better watch that grade inflation!

Very good chances, although I have to agree with 1MX about the grade inflation. I had a comparable average in high school and was ranked 1/220. 70 people in the 95+ range is a bit ridiculous. Perhaps your school attracts very gifted students. Your scores are phenomenal, so that could very well be the case. Good luck!

actually this year was good that 70+ kids have over 95 last year my friend had a 94.8 average and was ranked 280/800

may i also point out that it depends on ur courseload as well
so someone may have a higher avg but they may not be taking the same courseload as you

Yale is better.

yale would never take me. is it also true yale truely loves legacies?

harvard... yale... princeton... take your pick...

(u'll get in)

wouldnt bet on it

How will your recs be? Great character references or amazing demonstrated passion will help. Summer courses at top colleges sometimes just show that one's parents have the big money to buy an interesting line on the resume. And, it's always a toss up for applicants from the north-east. Why not try for Y and P too?

my parents are middle class, i ACTUALLY WORKED a whole year to get monie to pay for the summer courses...as for yale and princeton i'm gonna try them too...gosh this is so hard...i wanna ED penn but then im afraid ill get in and be like omg i wouldnt no if i could get into harvard nowand if i do get in i cant go since penn doesnt have EA and harv, yale, pton removed EA
