Reflection
Strengths: i guess essays were okay? extracurricular, involved in various activities, leadership roles, also my ACT36 in writing probably helped
Weaknesses: objective factors, my act score, my sat subject test score in math ii, no major awards
Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: applying from Canada as a female interested in engineering probably helped a bit, but not enough to overcome disadvantage in ACT score and lack of international science olympiad competitions
Where else have you been accepted/deferred/rejected:
What would you have done differently?: i tried my best, but if i could start again and still have time, i’d definitely improve my scores
What other universities have made decision? Accepted to Edinburg, UCL, UIUC engineering
What other schools are you waiting for? UC Berkeley, UCLA, Imperial College London, Waterloo, UBC, McGill

Other Factors:
i’ll keep HMC updated in my interest

I realize that with the information I’m giving some may be able to deduce who I am but I hope this helps others the way similar threads helped me…
