Has any Fall Extension people gotten their dorm yet?

<p>Has any Fall Extension people gotten their dorm yet? Do any Fall Extension people have any info on dorms? Thanks!</p>

<p>Nothing here yet. Someone said on another post that last year they found out around July 8th.</p>

<p>I just talked with the Housing office and the lotto numbers have been given out. She said that there were about 400 numbers total and that most of the doubles are full so ex will probably end up in a triple. But, the assignments will be given out over email by early next week--at latest Tuesday!</p>

<p>Thats what it sounded like, the lady I spoke with said everyone should get something--just it may not be a wonderful room! But if your coming from out of state (or town for that matter) anything is better than nothing!</p>

<p>yea ...bcuz i dont want to be in a triple in a cramped up room for an entire year......we pay so much money.....and we end up with **** rooms? not fair at all....these colleges are ignorant bastards who only care about the money they get.</p>

<p>The Co-Ops may be covered under financial aid. Also, if you arent going to live with parents or relatives, you can get under the budget for off campus no relatives. This one gives about 6000 a year allowance for housing and then 2000 or so for food so you could get an apartment with someone. But, you would still have to find loans, grants or scholarships, etc to cover the budget. The financial aid website is a good place to start--although it doesnt give a lot of depth: calling is much more efficient and informative.</p>

<p>They are a less expensive form of housing that Berkeley recognizes. They provide cheaper housing in exchange for you doing small things around the houses or "chores". Here's their website, <a href="http://www.usca.org/%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.usca.org/&lt;/a> Im not sure if there are spots available, but its worth a shot.</p>
