has any freshman planned his/her schedule n bought books yet? I have =)

what classes r u guys gonna take?

I'm planning to buy books pretty soon

always buy used if they are available. If you didn't already know that.

UClippers u buy books from me!

wut are the books that u need for Chem 1A and bio 93A? or is that 92? 94?
and how do u register classes?
i logged the webpage, and it says ur wutever register time is august soemthing, wut does it mean??? u cant register classes before that time?

on*****************************k, typo

no...u have to register on the date and time they gave u

for Chem1A u need: Chemistry by Zumdahl edition 6th (u can buy this from me for cheap just pm haha)

for Bio 93 (ppl usually start off w/ this): Biology by Reece and Campbell 7th edition

Good luck

They renamed the first bio class bio93??? Use to be Bio 94, which was the study of patterns of diversity, ecology, evolution. A complete waste of time in my opinion. Then you moved on to Bio 96, which was processes of diversity, ecology, and evolution. Another waste of time! Finally you got to an interesting class with Bio97- Genetics. So I guess the message is, Bio in your freshman year is NOTHING like it'll be the rest of the way. That is if they are still using this pattern.

PS- for those of you taking Chem1A, I see King, Ge, and Arasassingham are teaching it in the fall. Take King if you can. She is a really cool teacher. Ge i've never heard of and Arasassingham, while I liked him when I had him for 1B, most people don't, or tend to find him really hard.

isn't this the first year King teaches chem1A? I was contemplating between King and Arassassingham. Cuz "A"'s class is at 8 AM while King is later in the day. Iono wat to do...

Yea now the bio series goes: 93 - DNA to organisms , 94 - ecology evolution (i hate it too), 97 -genetics... 98, 99

I don't know if this is the first time King has tought General Chem. She's a great teacher none the less. Usually she teaches Organic, and I had her for a couple lectures when she filled in during Analytical Chemistry. Really simplifies things as well as anyone probably can.

Yeah I think this will be her first time teaching Chem 1A

Does your professor gonna tell you what book you need? or Do you just choose any book?

so..how far away is bio 93 lecture hall from chem1a lecture hall?
I have chem at MWF 10:00-10:50, and I don't know whether I should schedule bio at MWF 12:00-12:50 or 11:00-11:50.

10 minutes should be enough time to get from any two places and if it takes you 13 minutes instead of 10 its like meh...3 minutes late...no one cares. I'd rather do that than have a free hour inbetween classes.

even if you walk it'd only take 10 minutes max?

the bookstore site only has books for summer session. i wonder when they're gonna post up books for fall.

They're jerks. Prolly won't put em up till it's too late to buy them for way cheaper online.

lol...i still buy them cheap online anywayz haha.

soooo thats the reason.

i'm just ****ed the 2 bio books i bought on half.com: one is instructor's edition, the other is not the current edition. I can't file so many claims in the same month so i'm screwed... =(

Where'd you find out what books you need? EEE? or does it tell you when you register? (mine's not until the 18th)

well summer classes have the same books, just depends on the teachers
iono about other subjects, but bio, chem and math have same books regardless of the teachers
