Can some people who have been interviewed recently tell me how their interview and what was some of the questions they asked...

I recently interviewed at 10 schools. Most of my interviewers were really nice. They made you feel like you were just talking with them instead of being interviewed. I wouldn’t recommend planning your answers to any questions. They mostly just want to learn about your interests and personality. They all ask if you have been away from home before, like at summer camps. They also asked me a lot about my current school and classes, especially what books I read in English. Just make sure you know your own strengths and weaknesses and why you want to go to a boarding school. Most of all just be yourself, they want to get to know you as a person, not some perfect robot.

Thxss xflippx3 great info
Does anyone else want to share about interview anythin will be accepted

My Groton interview is the Best so far. We were just talking about family and culture teh whole time. I was not nervous because I have met him before when I went to the open house.

I’ve interviewed at six schools so far. I find talking to adults really easy, so the interviews were stress-free for me. The only one that I was kind of nervous about at the beginning was my interview at Exeter because the guy was like, “Tell me about your family life.” I just had no idea to start, but it got better as we kept talking because we had some similar interests. Most questions were just about my interests, what my schedule at school was like, what I was reading in English, which subjects were my favorite, etc. Once at a day school I was looking at, my interviewer and I had a great conversation about our love for CSI.

I’ve had 4 interviews so far and I have abt a bazillion more to go lol.
I went to berkshire, Sps,Choate, and exeter so far.
I think choate and berkshire went the best. it was basically a convo where they get to know you like everyone already said.

also, can someone tell me what groton is like? im interviewing there and i have no idea?

How were the SPS and Exeter invterviews???

I’m going there to interview the following week and the week after that…

Sps was just like the others and didnt see anything different. exeter’s for me was suspiciously short. like 10-15 minutes versus like 30 mins.

my sis says thats because I had the bball coach as an interviewer. and i didnt really have any questions that hadnt already been answered. I wonder what a short interview means for me though.

My Exeter interview went really well. I am not sure how long it lasted but the interviewer like me and really wanted me to come. We talked about alot of different things and I had fun. He also gave me candy!!!

what questions did he ask you

Basically it is like a CONVO between 2 people. The interview could ask what subject you like the best and why? Why you choose xxx school? Also be ready to talk about family.

Bump Bump bump

I guess you answered your own question (:

Hahaha NO I just wanted people to post how their interview went!!
