Has anybody ever received a note of appreciation from the admission officer?

I was an EDer. I got a typed letter from the admission officer of my region and a little hand-written note saying welcome at the end. Has anybody else received this kind of message? Or is it an everybody-get-one thing once accepted offer?

i got one.

-Did you get something like ‘…As the Columbia admissions officer responsible for your region, I was the first person to read your application, and I spoke about at great length during the admissions committee process…’ in the letter?

I got one, too. I think it’s standard. Get back on the Facebook group, guys.

everyone gets a standard letter and a personalized, hand-written note from the regional advisor.

ok fine… back to the facebook group!

i was ed, but what that for accepted ed’ers only. i was deferred :/
