Mine just changed to check back in 24 hours…but its a saturday? So will it be updated on a sunday? Also, everything is blanked out…I’m kind of scared.

Still waiting! No word yet. Checked the website, no change. This is so frustrating. Anyone hear anything today?

I just checked. No decision yet.

:( same, haven’t heard back yet!
If you applied early action you should hear back by February.
Good luck everyone :)

For those who have seen a status change on their student center page, can you tell those of us still waiting what exactly the page says? Where will we see the Status Change to either Accepted or Deferred or whatever the rejection word is they use?

For example, when I look at daughter’s page, we see:

at the top, Student No. and Student’s Name

then there’s a a bar straight across with the following:

Applicant Term Academic Career Applicant Type 1st Choice
Academic Program 1st Choice
Academic Plan 1st Choice
Campus Early Action
(Y/N)
Freshman Only
Fall 2012 Undergraduate Freshman ACES Pre-Teaching Storrs Y

Your application was completed on November 03, 2011. It is important for you to check your application status frequently. Your admission decision will be posted here when it is available.

Item Item Status Name
1 Official SAT I or ACT Scores Received
2 Official Transcript Received

At this point, I’m not sure where to look for the status change information. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!

BarbnBrian - you might find this link helpful: [View Admissions Decision Deferred](http://www.peoplesofthelp.uconn.edu/student/st47cs90.html)

You’ll see the info in the spot where the “Your application was completed on November…” currently is.

Thanks. This is what I see:

So, I guess we are still pending.

I have application completion date of Nov 28 and I have not heard of a decision yet. I wonder if my scores have anything to do with it. I had 580 Math and 570 Reading, Class rank 18% and GPA 3.69, taking 2 AP classes, Varsity Sports and a few EC’s. I’m wonder how that matches with others, I know that I’m borderline probably. Also trying to get into engineering.

Just checked - status changed to “a decision is pending, please check back in 24 hours”.
Fingers crossed!!!

i got the 24 hour status too! when do they update it? midnight? because i wanna check before bed… even though i’m probably getting rejected lol

Still no decision for us. Not even the check back in 24 hrs. answer! Good luck to those who will find out tomorrow. I still have my fingers crossed for my daughter.

We still have no decision (or the 24 hour message either)… getting VERY anxious!!! Not sure whether or not this implies anything? (perhaps deferral to regular decision or worse - a rejection) I hope not :)

D was DENIED. :-(

Sorry to hear that!! :(

Sorry to hear. Would you share what you’re SAT and GPA is to help gauge what UCONN is looking for this year? It seems every year the requirements are getting tougher.

Has anybody received a desicion yet? My app was completed on Nov. 30th and still have’t heard back yet. I have a gpa of 3.42 weighted,1530 on the sats, plenty of clubs and volunteer work, take honors classes, and my rank is
103/883.

Still waiting to hear!

The wait is officially over, Accepted, but to the Hartford Branch. Disappointed because we wanted the Storrs campus and commuting will be a problem since we live 40 miles away from the branch. At least it wasn’t a total NO, but we will probably have to go somewhere else so she can be on a campus. At least UConn wasn’t her top choice (it was mine!), and she’s already been accepted to her top choice, so it will work out.

D’s stats: (DENIED)
1840 SAT
3.1 GPA
applied for Biology major / premed
varsity crew, dance, lots of volunteer work … private high school in Calif.

Boxer, I was accepted and my application was put in two weeks before Christmas but my updated transcript was sent Jan 9th. So my application wasn’t completed until “Jan 9th.” I received my acceptance yesterday.
