<p>Hey, I just was wondering if any of you guys out there on the waiting list has heard from Amherst? I am tired of waiting… DOes anyone know when the waiting list acceptances will be decided?</p>
<p>I believe Amherst will start calling on and after May 10. Tell me if you get in!!</p>
<p>i got a letter this weekend that said that while i had not sent in my card (forgot/didn't care)...they wanted me to know that the class was filled and they were not taking anyone from the waitlist. however, i suppose if people leave the class through getting off lists from other schools later in the spring/summer, they will go to the list. then again, they might not if they're overenrolled already.</p>
<p>Yeah, I heard something (I can root around for the exact source if someone desperately needs to see it; it's probably somewhere in the Amherst student) about Amherst overenrolling students over the past couple of years, and they wanted to stop that trend.</p>
