If my daughter’s feet are any indication her dorm room will be worse than her brothers! We were at a friends last night and she was the only one in the living room and had her shoes off. The rest of us walked back in to a HUGE stink! :)
My son just discovered the carpet stuff you sprinkle on and then vacuum up and it smells nice. Said it was the “best thing ever.”
I should have bought stock in Fabreeze a few years ago.

Just minutes ago, I had the conversation with my d about laundry service and she says she wants it. Since she will also need the dry cleaning portion.

I have to be honest, we have a magic well, we deposit clothes down this chute and magically they appear out in the hallway, folded, neatly and on hangers…WOW.

Ok…my grandmother who at the age of 87 needs something to do, washes each day, I havent done a load since 1985 when i moved in. Ok so have bought 2 washing machines but i dont really mind.

I guess it isnt fair to now make my d, do her own when I have never done a load for her.

(Ok…joking aside, i have done it twice, both times grandma was in the hospital…but d does her own clothes at summer camp, she has a clue but only 2 per summer—lol)

Just my 5 cents today. :-)

Just thought some of you would love to have a “washing clothes” laugh—lolol

rofl! I love magic wells, don’t have any. Hmm… only if I can borrow one…

Regarding the parent fund or annual fund: Do try to give $25 a year if you can. Participation rates are a big deal in getting the larger donors to contribute. You might think that your small donation won’t help much, but those small donations really do have a big impact in helping out your school. I am a boarding school parent, and have been doing some phone call fundraising for the school, so have gotten a little of the inside scoop from the development officers.

I should’ve bought stock in Renuzit - since S and roommate always had at least 3 Super-Odor Killers open full bore in their room.
With athletic bags unopened for a few days…the smell was enough to knock a buzzard off a ****wagon! peeeeyou.

As far as the Annual fund - anything you can give helps! Now that my S has graduated, we give more than when he was there and also my company matches the donation I make - I also can specify where my donation goes and I always elect financial aid. If it wasn’t for FA, my S would not have had the opportunity to attend his BS.

I agree about the Annual Fund. Although we were not in a position to give much, I volunteered to make calls and gave $100. In my opinion, making the calls is just one very small way to say thanks for the FA we receive.
