Mine says “Ready For Decision”.
I know someone that applied for biology and was accepted in mid-December. I’m also a biology major applicant and I am still “Ready for Decision.” Although it is important to note that I sent in test scores somewhat late, they didn’t note that they got the scores until January 9th. The person that I know sent in test scores a lot quicker. It seems that some applicants were accepted early in mid-December, then the rest will be accepted/rejected later, most likely February and onward? Although I’m not really sure.
I received my provisional admit yesterday.
Freshman or transfer? Some freshman applicants have been, also similar majors as well. I haven’t seen any transfers yet though.
Transfer student here! I just got a provisional admit today for the microbiology option. Not sure if that means i got accepted though…
Edit: so i just called CPP and the person told me it basically means i got accepted but since, on my application, i reported that im still taking courses for my spring term at my CC i got a provisional admit. They just want to see if my GPA will drop drastically after spring or if you have unfinished items in the “To-Do” list on bronco direct, if any of those happen you will be withdrawn from the decision. Also since none of those courses are any of the required golden 4 for Biology and i have completed my golden 4 already it means that i got accepted. Hope this helps and saves time (long call wait time) for anyone who got the same status!

Totally stressed. I still have ready for decision. It’s getting late. I am concerned. I have a 3.6 gpa and 1170 on my SAT. What are my chances this year? Also, I applied to Biology-an impacted major.
Biology seems to be very impacted this year so your chances aren’t solidified, but a 3.6 gives you a better advantage.
Can someone call them and ask when specifically they’ll release stuff? They’re taking too long lol

I believe my subplan was undecided and I was general biology. Stats? My SATs were 600 math 570 english. I have a 3.58 in May, but a 3.6 in December. So, my GPA went up. Is this what you meant? I was hoping CPP had a open house day for me to check out, but I cant find anything on their website. I thought maybe you had to be accepted to be invited.

This is what I am afraid of. I am told it is the most impacted major throughout CA now?
I got a provisional admit for the Environmental Biology, so that’s way diff. I think it’s waayyy less impacted than general Bio. But I had a 3.3-3.4 with a 26 ACT so that’s pretty low, but it really depends on how impacted your major is.
My friend got rejected to comp sci with a 3.7-3.8 bc it’s just a popular major. Best of luck though dude, apps this year are all over the place.
@bosselmo i applied with zoology as my subplan - your gpa is better than mine (i have a 3.2) but my sat is a 1260/29 ACT
