For those of you who got accepted–
how long did it take for you guys to get financial aid awards?
My to do list just cleared up today (I had to send them my IRS tax return transcript)…
I’m worried about financial aid because I heard that they were cutting out some of the funding
I clicked on Accept/Decline awards
and it still says “Award access not available.”

Mine took around 7 days. I submitted my FAFSA after I was admitted, around April 20, then this last Sunday got an email that it was ready to view.

And yeah I think they are cutting funding. UCSC offered me 10k and CSULB offered me $0.

@ orangeapple76, If you applied for Fin Aid by March 2nd deadline then you would have gotten your fin aid statement by now.

@adfugal

yeah, it’s an impacted major :/

hellow…
I’m really interested in csulb msme. Is it a good program?
How hard to get in? If I barely meet the minimum requirement.
Do you know anyone who is admitted to the program?
What is the possible GRE score? They do not state the score, but I asked the grad advisor and was told 300 to 310 with Quantitative 150
Thanks

My friend submitted her FAFSA March 2nd and she still has no award available.

Pcharles, plenty of people have shown interest in a fb page for transfers, including me. so if you start one I am sure you will find plenty of people!

When you applied for CSULB did you do it as just a regular transfer or did you use the TAG (Transfer Admission Guarantee)?

Miurei: TAG is only for UC’s.

Hi all! I’m new to this forum. I just have a quick question regarding CSULB’s financial aid. I’m a transfer from a CC and just been accepted to CSULB for Fall 2012. I applied for financial aid and my EFC is turned out to be 0. In addition, it also said I may be qualified for a $5,550 grant. However, I haven’t gotten a notification regarding my financial aid status. When I accepted the offer of admission the other day, the $150 enrollment fee was waived. Does this mean I qualified for financial aid? I’m so confused. I just checked my financial aid awards and nothing has been showing up. Any thoughts?

The same thing is happening to me. I called the financial aid office early last week and they told me I should receive something within 2-3 weeks.

For transfer students who applied for a Cal Grant:

Have you received your award yet? My application still says “Awaiting processing.”
