Has anyone been accepted to CSULB for Fall 2012 yet?

should be around soon. i remember i found out around last week or so of february last year by calling the number

okay so. this is kind of unrelated. But I feel like it might help someone.
I was accepted to University of Oregon recently, along with the 5 schools I stated before that I was accepted to. (SFSU, Stan State, University of the Pacific, Washington State U, and University of Arizona)
I was rejected to LB.
Still haven’t heard from USC, UCB, UCSB, UCSC, CSU Fullerton and SDSU.
I posted my stats earlier in the thread, but here they are again:
3.4 CSU GPA
1770/2400 SAT
1170/1600 SAT
25 ACT

Once again, let me know if you have any questions! Here to help. :)

And the wait continues… Is anyone else getting antsy like I am right about now??? CSULB is literally killing me with the wait. Haha :o I am still hoping that send me an email about my transcripts soon before the month is over.

I received an e-mail from CSULB on Jan 30 too asking for my transcript but haven’t heard anything since then. This is killing me!

You guys can try to check your application status online. I did it the other day and I said I already got admitted. I still didn’t receive emails or anything from them except the one that asked for my transcript on Jan 30.

I checked my online application status a variety of times and it still says that I’ve met the CSU requirements and that I am in the competitive round of admissions and that they will notify me by April 1st, etc. I still haven’t heard anything back yet about my admissions or if my transcripts need to be sent. The only thing that has changed on my application status is my FAFSA information. :frowning:
This is a tough wait…

I check my application status daily. I hope they update this week. I’m really paranoid that my transcripts got lost in the mail or something I sent them almost 4 weeks ago and I have no clue if they have been received or not. But it’s like this at some of the other schools I’ve applied to as well (CSULA).

Tribal, you got in already? Were you a transfer? What are your stats? Thank you!

I know…I check my status daily, too. I keep getting the “we’ll let you know by april”…this wait is torture!

@donnaholic: Yes, I am a transfer. My major is computer science, non-impacted, and my GPA is 3.3. And yeah, I know the feeling, still waiting for CPP though.

@bubblewhisperer: I sent my transcript weeks ago, but then when I activated my csulb account, my transcript status still say “initiated” under the to-do-list tab. It is weird because I did sent that transcript before sending another one to Fullerton which already received.

Tribal, are you a local transfer?

Thanks for the info, Tribal. This sounds dumb, but did you set up your CSULB account AFTER you got accepted? I was able to set up a CSUF account before I got accepted, but Long Beach won’t let me so far.

@rapidxone: I’m not sure if I’m. FYI, I’m living in Orange County.

@donnaholic: Yeh, after I checked the the application status and got the admission, it required me to set up my account and no longer let me access to status checking link.

any engineers hear yet? they told me I’m still in the process of being reviewed and i applied under civil engineering. my friend with similar stats applied to the same thing and got in already :(

For transfers who are still waiting for the email asking for transcripts…what are your majors?

I’m a transfer and my major’s accounting.

Another transfer here. I’m losing my mind waiting to hear back. I REALLY want to get into CSULB. :(

Anyway, I applied for liberal studies (impacted), sent my transcripts in a while ago and they received them all, and I’m just waiting now. I got early acceptance into Fullerton but they don’t have exactly the program I want to do. I called them and the guy said that impacted majors just take longer. My GPA is pretty good, I’m local, and I should get in. BUT there’s always that chance. I’m also afraid of some mix-up or having missed a requirement. I’m still working on my golden four too.

I can’t believe they say by May 1st, honestly. That’s so far away. I’ll die if it takes that long. Mostly just from anticipation, but also I need to know before then just so I can figure out moving to Long Beach.

Accepted to Computer Engineering

GPA: 3.5

SAT: 1940

APs Passed/Taken/In_Progress: 1/2/6

1stGen are you in their service area?

1stGenStudent: When were you accepted into CSULB???

@jaythe65 Yeah, I live in Artesia

@RockyHorror About a 2 weeks ago, I believe.
