@smurray09 thanks for that PDF Wow…they got accepted a few weeks before school started?! Were they able to get the classes they needed and stuff? I really hope that doesn’t happen to me. When is the fall semester suppose to start up? Did you have to take an english writing exam before transferring to Northridge @smurray09?

No, you’re supposed to take the exam before 70 credits I believe? I can’t remember. I ended up taking mine in the fall though @bearskin

I’m transferring to Northridge (hopefully lol) with 104 credits so I’m sure I’ll have to take the exam. Did you have to take the exam before you could sign up for classes for your first semester there @smurray09? Or does it just have to be done before your first semester is over? Sorry for so many questions lol

No, you’re only required to do it your first semester at CSUN @bearskin

I understand you have to do it your first semester, I was just wondering if you have to do it before you register for classes @smurray09?

Also, last Tuesday my boyfriend was accepted by CSUN. Hopefully I hear something real soon…hope everyone else has received their acceptance email!

hey everyone. im as well waiting on csun to get back to me. its june 24 and i called a/r at csun today and they said they havent gotten my final transcripts which i definitely sent 2 weeks ago. the lady put an email out to locate my transcripts so i guess will have to wait and see what happens. stuff stressful mannnn

Hello EVERYONE! So I decided to call CSUN’s transfer center to talk to a transfer counselor about why my admission decision was taking so long since they had received my official transcript back in early May. A women had me give her my student ID and name and told me to wait while she looked up my information. After a couple of minutes she came back on the phone and told me she had just admitted me for admission!!! (This was yesterday 6-26-14) After waiting 24 hours my acceptance through my CSUN portal was updated this morning so I was able to select admit.

But I still have not received a congratulations email yet…although I believe admission and records open at 10am so it’s possible the email won’t come until after they open.

I wanted to write this so any transfer student who’s still waiting in limbo like I was can call CSUN’s transfer center and see what’s going on with their application and admission process. Hope everyone who wants to get into CSUN does! Have a wonderful day.

The number to reach CSUN’s transfer center is 818-677-3700 then push 4 then 1 :-)

Congrats @Bearskin

Thank you @smurray09!!! What’s your major? Maybe I’ll see you around on campus!
