Has anyone been accepted to SDSU for Fall 2012 yet?

haven’t heard anything :(

It also says on this page: [San Diego State University | Admissions](<a href=“First-Year Students | SDSU”>First-Year Students | SDSU) that admission notifications aren’t sent out until march 2012 so how are so many people on here getting accepted already/months ago?

My daughter received an acceptance letter on December 21, 2011. She applied RD to the Business program. The letter stated because of her excellent academic record and test scores that she was one of a select few to receive early notification and offer to apply to Honors Program. Her GPA is 3.8 and SAT 1900 (Math-700, Reading-650, Writing-550). Lots of Honors, AP, EC and 4 years Varsity Basketball. Not sure if this helps anyone in understanding the process. I was surprised that she received early notification as we didn’t know they did that. She also received a similar offer from Fullerton.

This is redemption. I only applied to three schools last year: Cal Poly, Sonoma St., and Sac State. This is because I thought I was going to get into Poly for sure. Oops, thanks budget cuts. I got waitlisted by Poly, got into the other two, and was stuck going to Sac State this year. SACRAMENTO SUCKS when you grew up on the beach and then moved to Tahoe…actually I think it pretty much sucks for anyone. I only applied there because my parents said they were going to be moving there. Didn’t happen either. There is still hope for Poly this year, my GPA is much higher than when I got waitlisted. Either way, I will be surfing again WOO HOO!!

Good Luck Everyone!!

ACCEPTED

WHAT GPA DO WE NEED TO MAINTAIN TO KEEP THE ADMISSION???

Got accepted a couple days ago.

This is my 3rd choice, still waiting to hear from Cal Poly and San Jose

Thanks mkmb777 for the information about how your daughter got accepted early.
That makes sense that I have to wait until March to see if I will get accepted since my grades and test scores are overall mediocre since I pretty much didn’t do anything all throughout high school. Hopefully I get accepted though since SDSU is pretty much my first choice.

snizzle77 I believe you just have to maintain your current GPA.

Does anyone know/think a lower GPA kills any chance at SDSU even if there’s an explanation for it and a huge upward trend? (and good SAT scores higher than SDSU range)

I’m getting more nervous as march approaches…

Does the “admissions decisions will be sent out in early March” mean nothing then? Or is it just for special students?

My portal still says “pending”
