has anyone been notified from CSULB?

If it says that I’m not missing anything, does that mean that I’m fine? If so, does it mean that my transcripts have been sent or does it mean that they just haven’t asked for them?

haha yay! i got in! my super safety.. i feel a little more stable now lol. at least i know that if i dont get into the other 5 colleges, i'll have long beach =D

sat: 1890
cal state gpa: i think it was 3.87 or 3.88 something like that

for transfers that got accepted what is your gpa?

i was on the CSULB website and i saw this, what does mean? does it mean that they will only consider you for admission or they guarantee admission if you meet the requirements?

" Due to ongoing enrollment growth provided by the Governor's Compact, CSULB is increasing access for CSU eligible transfer students. As a result, we are taking the following actions for Fall 2006 admission:

*

CSULB is extending the deadline for receipt of upper division applications for non-impacted majors to February 15.
*

Applicants, who have completed the four core GE requirements by the end of Spring 2006 and will have met all minimum CSU eligibility criteria by the end of Summer 2006, will be offered admission to the University. The four core GE requirements are GE English, Critical Thinking, Oral Communication and Mathematics and must be completed with a grade of C or better."

i just called and...i got in :] (hopefully irvine or sc will follow this)
it's a big deal since my state configured gpa was a low 3.0 & SAT 1800

tips for people calling because i got confuse at first
call 562-985-2500 press 2 for admissions and then 3 for application information/status and listen carefully

the man said i got in for a bachelors degree and congrats but i do not know which major i got in for since i applied for International Business and it's an impacted major but i got such a low gpa

just called in to check my admissions status this morning and got accepted at provisional status. kind of surprising, since my overall GPA isnt that great at around 2.5 for a transfer student and CSULB is one of the more selective CSU's

i have a question reguarding csulb admission also.
i have called and lisnted to the man on the phone, the exact words he said was: " congradulations. you have been offered provision admission."
but when i log on to myCSULB online, there is no admission information provided under my name. (the sample they gave you when u click for help actually shows what the page looks like with words like "you have been admitted")

does this mean i am accepted or no? > <

AMiMi, yeah, you've been admitted. They are faster on the phone notification method than the website method. Provisional admission means you're in as soon as you accept and confirm the stats you gave (by way of transcript, SAT scores, etc.).

accepted. with like 2.4 gpa and 430 math & 490 cr

for everyone who got accepted.. did you apply as a freshman or a transfer?

freshman. :)

i got in too!

my friend didn't but they encouraged her to appeal when she called.

hey i have a question for those of you that say you got in.
did u guys checked online/phone or did you actually got an admission letter in the mail?
because i am anxious waiting for the mail to come every single day.

i called the phone number and entered my app id.

thx for telling me
because that is what i did, but i want to get the actual mail as soon as possible to see if i need to send in anything.
do you guys know if i need to send in my transcript rite now with fall 2006 grades? or send in the final one after i graduate?

^ adding on to what i have above,
what does it say under "Accept/Decline Admission" on your myCSULB website
for those who got accepted (notification via phone/online)?

on the phone, theirs an option to see if you need to send anything in.

how can you see it online?

i know this is totally out of the topic, but for those of you that plan to live on campus at csulb, are you guys bringing ur cars or no?
