Has anyone been rejected yet?

I see lots of waitlists, but no rejections so far on CC.
Or maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

rejects dont usually post even though i have seen quite a few on CC. I got rejected from MIT

Yeah, people are much less likely to post rejections than acceptances.

I've gotten one acceptance, but am waiting to hear on nine more schools. I will make sure to post my rejections :)

yeah, I'm sure people will be more willing to post rejections after they've heard from all colleges.

A friend of my daughter got a rejection from MIT. It wasn't her first choice --or even seoond or third-- so it wasn't a big deal to her. I was surprised though!

Haven't gotten any rejections yet, but I'm expecting to when UVa sends out letters.

i just got rejected from UChicago

deferred EA, now rejected

w/e, a lot of other fishes in the sea
let's just hope some of them bite...

no...no one on CC EVER gets rejected from any school

Just got rejected from UChicago too (deferred EA). I got into Wesleyan a little while ago, though, so honestly I'm not too disappointed.

I haven't gotten any rejections yet either. All of my colleges have later notification dates. I'll post my rejections to UC Berkeley and Yale later. :P

I'm with atrophicwhisper--I haven't been rejected yet, but I'll post my rejection from Harvard when I get the email :)

I'll post my rejection from Harvard later.

Rejected from UCLA, will post the others as I get them. :p

Rejected From Uw-madison

Pretty sure I got rejected from American U

I'm just waiting for the rejections from Tufts, Brown, and BC to be official.

will be more than glad to post rejections on april 1st...

First rejection: UCLA (OOS). Received a supplement questionnaire, too.

I'm low-income, so I probably wouldn't have been able to attend anyway with the OOS tuition, and I added it because the UC application gave me four waivers (first choice is Berkeley, although I would still have the same financial problems, and chances of admission seem bleak). Regardless, I feel very humbled... I think I'll manage.

I was deferred from ED by Reed, so I'm sure I'll have a formal rejection letter to post on the 29th or 30th. :P

What a dumb question. Of course people have.
