has anyone bought their prep books?
where do we find the newest versions?
is 2008 the newest version? caz i saw some 2009s...
and im not sure if i should buy them now bcaz i don't want the old ones..
thanks

It doesn't really matter the version, since CB doesn't really change anything major. It would be more cost-beneficial to buy the 2008 versions, which I'm doing. I just go to amazon.com and buy Used books for like $3 each.

It seems to me that year to year versions rarely change. In fact, sometimes the answers get jumbled up because they alter some questions. Unless the actual test undergoes changes, any prep books within a couple years will suffice. I promise, you won't get higher grades by using 2009s rather than 2008. Most 2009s will come out during this summer. Check amazon for your specific publisher and subject.

AP students are kinda lucky cuz the 2008 AP exam multiple choice questions are coming out, which will probably be extremely beneficial considering they're the most recent tests that came out. The tests won't change dramatically from last year. CB would've announced something by now so that the teachers could change their curriculum. The absolute best way to prep is by taking the 2008 multiple choice and free response portions. Maybe you should buy a review book like PR, but the 2008 will not differ much if at all from the 2009.

I don't think College Board releases every exam for that year. I believe they release each exam every 5 of so years and not every test is on the same schedule. I know they released the 2002 and 2007 AP World Exam. Anyways, Amazon is the best place to buy it for cheap and bairly used copies.

Yeah but if you buy the Used ones off of Amazon, aren't all the practice tests all taken? It won't help me much if all the practice tests are Used and I can see the actual answers when I'm practicing.

It depends on which books you buy. Just look for one that's listed as not written in
