I just broke my left wrist (I'm left handed) while rollerskating drunk. I know it was a bad idea, I don't need to hear that. I'm having a lot of trouble doing simple things like getting dressed (or typing one handed :P) and I wanted to know if anyone had a similar experience and how they got through, or if they have any tips. Thanks!

No tips unfortunately, but…

high five for being left handed

I accidentally stepped on a little ELBOW macaroni once. does that count?

My boyfriend fell down the stairs two summers ago and broke his hand when he had two chem classes and labs to get through. You should contact your school’s disabilities office to see if they would be willing to arrange a notetaker for you if you can’t keep up with your notes.

I did last year. For getting through most tasks you just have to deal. In some cases your prof may be understanding- talk to them. My lab TA gave me a good amount of leniency, but I really didn’t have any issues in there.

If you drive, there is one benefit; I don’t know about your school, but mine gives out temporary disability parking which may be closer to your buildings. I didn’t know about this until after I had gotten a ticket, but they still let me out of it.

If you have any more specific questions, let me know.

I broke a leg. It was the most miserable six months of my life. Yeah, that fun a break. Crutches and ice do not work very well together.
