Ha! I didn’t get any scholarships from my college, and my family’s EFC is too high, so I am required to pay full tuition. We’re going to pay it.
Has anyone else decided that their undergrad experience is worth paying FULL tuition?

Whatever college that may be, I wish you the best of luck with your finances.

Especially if its a top-tier....

Oogh. It's a lot of money, but we've decided it's worth it to pay full tuition for my school.

Best wishes kate and everyone else.

My husband was convinced there was no use in pursuing financial aid, so we will be paying full tuition, as we have twice already for our two older children. It's the curse of those of us who were fortunate enough to be able to plan ahead and save for our kids' education.

Being an international, I decided to apply without financial aid (not that I really needed it anyways), seeing as how doing so would give me an advantage over most other intls...it seems to have worked, because I miraculously got in.

Not paying full freight, but we do seem to have picked the highest cost option (over a full tuition waiver at a top 50 uni where my H works).

I'm sure for a lot of people it's not a choice- for any number of reasons (international, make too much, no merit anywhere) they'll have to pay full no matter where they go

doesn't this happen all the time? if your middle class...and your a good student but not excellent, your going to be paying full for college.
