We have heard of a LOT of acceptances and several rejections from all of the auditions, both on campus and at Unifieds.

So far D hasn’t heard a peep. (Auditioned at L.A. Unifieds) Wondering if there are still decisions being made, or if maybe something has been lost in the mail.

My D auditioned in Chicago, and we haven’t heard a word from UArts, or anybody else yet. We laugh and say that at least the rejections aren’t rolling in.

I know acceptances have started going out, but it doesn’t necessarily mean anything if you haven’t heard back yet. I know one friend of mine who auditioned at Chicago Unifieds found out two days ago (Tuesday). But they don’t send all the letters at once either. You “should” hear back 2-4 weeks after your audition.

As a general matter, those who do not hear anything one way or another within about 2 weeks from the date of their audition are still “in the running”. That’s a positive because if the school decided on a rejection immediately you would hear within 2 weeks of the audition date. There are still on campus auditions on February 25 and March 17 so those who have not heard anything as of today and have passed the 2 week mark from their audition date may not hear anything until after the remaining auditions. If you are concerned something may be missing from your application packet, I would call immediately.

Oh, wow! Thanks so much for that info. It’s very good to know! So we’ll keep our fingers crossed that we don’t hear bad news by the weekend and then we’ll wait until after the March 17 date to start worrying again! :)
