<p>I applied in december and still have not heard back from college park. I've called them twice and emailed them and still have no answer on when I will find out. Deadlines are approaching, and I was seriously considering College park. This is beyond rude. Has this happened to anyone else?</p>
<p>Did you apply as a transfer or as a Freshmen??</p>
<p>Have you checked your on-line status. If you applied before the deadline in dec. then you should have had an answer.</p>
<p>I understand your frustration, but maybe you are not contacting the right number...whenever we have called, they transfer us several times, (my bad, I assume that we should contact this number and in the end, they keep filtering until we get to the exact location)</p>

<p>get your GC on this asap, and be persistent have had some runarounds myself with the admissions office on different matters. Definitely not time to wait, they wont get back to you or a parent, get your school involved if you are still interested.</p>
<p>^^^ I concur...to a point. I have called several times (we did not recieve the planner, and to reserve an open house slot). I have even spoken with the person in charge of scholars (name escapes me)...Get the folks on the phone with admissions and ask, but again have you checked on line...it should have an answer there</p>

<p>I would call, double check if they have your home address correct.</p>
<p>UMD does not have a waitlist, the people accepted for Spring 09, were those that were waitlisted.</p>
