has anyone else seen this video?

Since i've been doing absolutely NOTHING with my time other than counting the minutes until Feb. 15th, I've come across this video..

YouTube - Insider's guide to admissions

they are basic questions (some of the answers are pretty "DUH" also), but the answers are somewhat reassuring.
just thought i'd share :)

Oooh! I like this.

I don’t know why people always ask “should I take many APs and risk my GPA or should I take less and get a good GPA.” You take the most APs and get the good grades in them.

This kind of freaked me out, though. About the essay part. Mine is definitely 100% me and my voice. But my mini essay is less “pretty(?)” and more personable and friendly. The former being my intelligent, creative voice and the latter being the quirky side of me. I hope that doesn’t hurt me.

He is a very wise man… Glad to hear he like the person better than the numbers.

“We are looking for the reasons to accept you, not to deny you.”

He does seem very intelligent, and experienced.

I wonder where he went to college…

^

I’ll make a guess before searching: Harvard

lol

bad guess

“He earned a doctor of philosophy degree in higher education administration and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Utah.”
