<p>Hello I have one weakness and its one C on my transcript. But since sophmore year, I have had A's and no B's and C's. Everything else is good high SATS (2200) and great other stuff.</p>
<p>I was just wondering if anyone has gotten a C during their high school years and gotten into a ivy league school or top liberal arts school or top university.</p>

<p>Well if you looked at applicant profiles or even school websites, you would know that at top schools, freshmen year grades do not count very much. You would also know that it is possible that you could get into top schools with a C. At Stanford, for example, 5% of the admits had a GPA of 3.70-3.99 and 3% had a GPA of below a 3.7. So you see, it is more difficult, but certainly possible.</p>
<p>10 & 11 are the important years, dont worry about freshmen year for most top schools</p>

<p>Freshman grades won’t matter very much; stanford doesn’t even look at freshman year grades! You’ll be fine.</p>
