Has anyone ever had their SAT scores rushed?

Hi! I am planning to apply for an early decision admission this fall.
The deadline for ED applications for Cornell is 1st of Nov.
I have only taken SAT 1 test before, and I am taking it again this October so I have no othre options than to take SAT 2 tests in November.

The admission officer at Cornell replied my email saying that I can have my November SAT 2 scores rushed but there is no guarantee that the scores will arrive in time to be considered...

I will be taking my SAT 2 tests on 7th of Nov so the scores would be available on 28th which is 3 weeks after the test...

Is there any chance that i could apply for an ED admission? Has anyone ever had their SAT scores rushed..if so.. do they actually get to colleges in time ?

please help me! i have no other choice than to apply for ED decision since my stats are not super impressive and Cornell has been always my first choice...thank you

I was in a similar situation for the ED round last year except I hadn’t taken any SATs prior to October, so I had to take the SAT1 in October and the SAT2s in November. I believe I ended up rushing my November scores (I don’t know whether or not Cornell ended up accepting them, but eh… it doesn’t matter now). :P

There are a lot of mixed responses about rushed SAT scores on this board–you can look at them and decide for yourself.

Here’s a thought…why not take the ACT in September and/or October, and the SAT 2’s in October instead of November. This way all of your testing will be within the acceptable date range for early decision. Then you can take the regular SAT in November, in case you need additional test scores for some reason. Good luck!

I was planning of rushing during fraternity week. I don’t think they take those into consideration at fraternities. Usually, these organizations are looking for members who know how to have fun, so my advice is not to send your SAT scores for rush week.

i hope that was a joke warrior
