Has anyone ever taken ap psychology??

Hey guys I’m doing Florida virtual and I was wondering if anyone has ever taken ap psychology and how was your experience??

Not on Florida virtual but I did take it. It was super easy. Their really isn’t much content and it’s just basic memorization.

@Futuremed17 alright thank you!

I live in Florida and I was thinking about taking AP Psych. Are you taking it now and if so, do you recommend it?

Eh, I hated AP Psych, but it was mostly because of my teacher. Our teacher never thought about curving score (for example, you can get a score of 5 with 75%~80% right on the AP exam. Our teacher pulled questions from previous AP exams, or so I heard, however, he never curved the score. For example, after getting 40/50 right, he just gave us 40/50 points.) It was memory-intensive course, so unless you are really an expert in memorizing, I wouldn’t recommend taking that course. Self-studying to get a 5 in AP Psych exam is a whole different story, though.

I’m taking AP psych right now! Out of my 5 AP’s, I certainly find it the easiest. Like a poster above me said, it’s a lot of information that is easy to memorize. But above that, it’s also really interesting. You’re learning about people! It’s cool. 100% recommend

Taken 11 ap’s and psych was by far the easiest. Tedious bookwork and memorization, but easy nonetheless. Not a lot of synthesizing, just regurgitating. Make flashcards and you’ll be fine.

My friend is taking an online AP Psych course b/c she is interested in neuroscience and our school didn’t offer it but she hates it so much that now she wants to pursue Physics in college haha (probably better for her–unemployment is super high for people w/ degrees in Psychology). I think that she finds it fairly easy though! So go for it, if that’s what you really want!

It’s a really popular class at my school and all of my friends who have taken it have loved it!
