Has anyone got rejected to UCI yet??!!

<p>I haven't heard from UC Irvine yet..but there are some people at my school already received notifications through their admissions page. When did they started sending decisions out? To those of you that already received it, when did you get it? Does this mean I'm probably going to get rejected? Or does it mean they haven't made their decision yet and maybe I'll get accepted? Gosh..I'm so anxious to wait for this letter cuz it's the last UC I'm waiting for. I got rejected to UCD and UCSD and accepted to UCR. I don't want to go to UCR! That's why I really wanna get admitted to UCI! I heard it's a really nice university and the area is nice too =]</p>

<p>i got mine like 2 weeks ago.. but i think they're still sending acceptances out.</p>

<p>My friend got hers yesterday, she got into UCSD before that though. I haven't heard of anyone being rejected yet, last year rejections came out all at once near the end.</p>

<p>omg i got an email saying that your status has been changed, but when i went there there was no messages. im freakking out!! probably a rejection letter then...</p>

<p>I guess my essays weren't as good as I thought they were...</p>

This is my 2nd time applying, I have a 3.75 SAT, a 1590 SAT I, 770, 590 SAT II, APs, etc,etc.</p>

<p>And my essays were really good... that's what I think got me in quickly.</p>

<p>At the bottom of the page it has a "I have read and understand this notice:" with a box to check and then a "Send Acknowledgement" notice.</p>

<p>From there it will take you to the message. </p>

<p>I agree it's not clear. The top of the page shows 0 new messages.</p>

<p>The cold truth... They send out the rejections last...hint hint.</p>

<p>OoPurestOo, an "Yes" or a "NO" is part of the process; one has just to accept it... but what is not part of the process is receiving a notice telling you that the status has changed and you unable to check what is your new status. It is not fair to the applicant(s)!</p>

<p>Maybe you've already seen on the "Admission Status is strange thread" for UC Irvine that some people receive this message:</p>

<p>"If you received an e-mail last night stating your status has changed, please check tomorrow. We apologize for the delay in your update."</p>

3.5GPA/2040SAT. It must be because I applied as an Engineering major.</p>
