I never got one. The orientation page finally opened for me.

Oh cool! are you planning on going, I know earlier you said you weren’t haha.

nice, i just checked and it opened up for me too. I guess you dont really need the postcard invite.

I still don’t think I’ll be going … Lol. But yes, you def don’t need the invite. It’s things we already know haha.

I’m attending. I found out that the $35 doesn’t go onto your account until after you’ve been to orientation.

I finally got my postcard too :)

oh yeah i figured. i probably wont go either, if its not mandatory, then most likely not hahaha

yeah i just got my postcard in the mail today, too! but wait, what do you mean about the $35 not going into your account?

It doesn’t go on your account until you sign in for orientation.

oh, that was pretty self explanatory… facepalm haha

Btw, I’m still waiting to get a room. My date to pick was last Tuesday and I still get “the rooms are full” message! So frustrating. I at least wanted to pick my room since I’ll be dorming with randoms & since I don’t know anyone there.

Oh man, thats all bad. hope that works out for you, if i had known I woulda included a 3br apt in my search just in case someone might need a room. Good luck with that!

Haha thank you! I’ve went on Facebook and asked around and most students say that I won’t be able to pick my own room. Why give me that option then?? Spend $7K and can’t even pick what building I wanna live in. Hopefully I get something that doesn’t suck.

@Smurray09 - Just wanted to come to this thread and say grats on your acceptance.

@UCWolv thank you!

Just wanted to check in with you guys. How are ya’ll doing in your classes? How do you like Northridge and the campus?

Is anyone from out of boundaries?

What so you mean? Out of state? If you’re in California you’re considered local for this school. There’s no out of boundaries like other CSUs.

i’m from San Francisco, so the locals who live in los angeles gets first priority.

Not necessarily. I lived in LA county and didn’t find out until early July. A guy from San Jose found out before me.

hey thats me! haha sorry i haven’t been on here lately. but as far as school is going its pretty cool, how about you?

It’s good. I have a job on campus. What classes do you have this semester?

Hello,
