@myusernameiscool congrats! Yes hope I get mine soon @roseyy. I called yesterday and the admission evaluator said call back in a week and a half to see if my transcripts made it there.

I got accepted!!!

Haha @myusernameiscool I picked out my classes already… Just need to see if they’re ok with my advisor. What’s your major btw? I also got my enrollment appt today! Everything’s pretty fast. Just waiting on my FA package to come through so I can pay for my housing next month. Btw do we have to see our advisor during our enrollment appointment time?

@smurray
Congrats on getting into CSUN. Did you get the CalVet application to cover your tuition sent in?

Thank you SFSRules! No, unfortunately we need his Vet claim for disability and there’s no way we can get that. My mom stated that she’s just going to do Parent plus loans plus my student loans instead.

Went on campus Tuesday to get my I.D. and wanted to hand in the Parent Plus Loan in person (things get done faster that way). Campus is absolutely BEAUTIFUL… Also went in the library for a sec… Thing is HUGE lol.

@smurray09 my major is ctva, electronic media management. Uhh im not even sure about that hah as for me, since i live in NorCal right now, my advisor said he could do the advising via email. I just need to show my degree progress report.

also, can anyone recommend me some good places to live in the San Fernando Valley area?
like, not ghetto/sketchy as East San Jose, East Palo Alto, or Oakland. I’d like to avoid areas like that.
Thanks in Advance!

nvm, ill just start a new thread. haha

Woodland hills is a good area so is Burbank, etc. you could also look at the apartments by the school… Some actually look nice. I’d love to live in my own apartment.

For transfers (if you’re in the area), they if group advisements. I’m going on Tuesday from 10-12. Also advise on student ID get it as soon as possible. The admissions department gets REALLY busy during the beginning of the school year. So glad I got mine this week.

oh, okay, i might do that. but if not, it’s gonna have to be a via email advisement. Yeah, I was just about to ask that, because I’m taking the UDPWE on the 29th and do I need a CSUN student ID?

Here’s what it says on the csun udwpe website:

Hm, alright, Ill send an email to check if i can use my current school’s ID

If you have a CA drivers license, regular CA ID, or military ID… I don’t see why those wouldn’t work.

yeah, they said
“Your government issued ID will be sufficient along with your college ID.”

so its all good!
