I’m a transfer student and applied right after the October 1st opening. I live in LA as well. I saw that they looked at my transcripts and cleared my required English courses for transfer.
I have one transcript that is on the way or they still need to review. However, this transcript may not even have classes that are needed for transfer… I took photography classes in high school at a community college. When I called the admissions office, they said that they may not even need to look at it for their decision.
Just looking to see if anyone has heard anything back!
Have you looked at your portal? My son is a transfer as well.
In My Checklist under status it states: You have been provisionally admitted to CSUN.
His preliminary transcripts have been received. Official final transcript(s) is required with final grades by the date listed below.
Due Date: 08/21/2015
Maybe they are still waiting for that one transcript.
Hey guys! I’m currently in a dilemma. I have gotten A’s in my golden four except statistics. I got a Fail cause (of school/work) and i just messed up but I’m retaking it right now so I should be able to get an A in there.
So here’s my question, what should I do? I’m scared it’s gonna reflect badly when they review my profile and I really wanna go to CSUN. any advice? I’ve gotten to one university so far.

@dragongirl11 I think they’re still reviewing yours. If you had all As otherwise and you’re retaking, I wouldn’t worry. I honestly don’t have the best grades and even have a couple Fs that I haven’t retaken.
how did u guys find out the decision? Through the portal? I even don’t know my id and password. And I try to use forget my id to look over it, but, I don’t have a CSUN number…so confused…plz help!
I haven’t heard from them either; for those who have been accepted, mind me asking your GPA and your major? I’m getting so scared, some of my friends already got in

I signed on to the portal (You should have received a letter in the mail shortly after you applied with your ID and password, should be your initials with numbers and password is letters and numbers that you could have changed)
Shortly after I signed on and then off the other day I received an email that I was accepted so I logged back on. Wasn’t sure where to check on the page before I got the email. They said I would get my acceptance package in the mail soon. I asked my counselor to send my grades and I’m not even sure she did. To be honest I’m not sure just happy to be accepted Good luck!
Hey guys, just an update! I finally got admitted I called the school, talked to an evaluator, and she ran my application right there and then. they’re just lagging GL everyone!
