Linguistics major from College of the Desert. I still haven’t gotten anything and I’m getting suuuuuuper nervous! 
I got communication stating they were only taking tier 1 ( local area) applicants and their freshman class is full and cant take tier 2 (out of area students) for fall 2015.

@lysippo yeah 2.7 should get you in! what major did you declare? i suggest calling them. last time i talked to the csun rep, they said they’re kind of behind. and did you pay you application fee/got it waved?

To answer your question, Im also a PH transfer. I called them and they told me I havent sent them my priliminary transcripts. D’oh. I hope my transcript has gotten there already (sent late last week), but my csun portal indicates otherwise. I really hope 2.7 does the trick.However, Im a local transfer if that matters. I hope to see you there…
Hi all! I also applied for fall 2015 and have yet to hear back. My portal says my official transcripts are due in August, but I’m assuming that’s for spring semester’s grades from my current college. My preliminary transcripts were already sent and reached the admissions office. Is anyone else still in this situation? Could ask what number you all called them at? I think I’ll probably do the same come Monday.
Hey guys I applied as a psych major to csun from SMC and LACC. According to my transcript my current GPA is 2.8 and I just need to send it to csun by this month. Do you guys think I’ll get a chance to get accepted because I’m scared that I might not. I already passed psych 1 and right now im taking psych 2, stats, and psychology 11 to add to my major. Main point is I’m just hoping I get accepted after I send my transcript by this month.
hi, @xstradivariusx I also applied for pre-accountancy major for fall 2015 and we have the same gpa. Did you do anything to speed up the result? Any advice? I sent my transcript two weeks ago. Is pre-accountancy hard to get into? Pls. help.

GPA: not exactly, school in brazil dont calculate gpa, but about 3.2 (I had a 3.8 my senior year here in california)

Is it true that CSUN is only accepting people living in the LA county? People at school have been telling me that they got denied because of that… O_O
I live In California right now. But applied as international because I’m not a permanent resident, so I don’t think that’s true… They will probably notify OOS later… I don’t know
I just got rejected for that reason too. It even says they aren’t.

I still haven’t gotten accepted and they still haven’t received my transcript!
How long does it take for the checklist to update?
I’m thinking about sending my transcript in again…
