I have a 3.2 GPA, 31 ACT, drastic upward trend (i had terrible fresh/soph years), and ive taken UW in the high school courses along with AP classes. Has anyone been accepted with a similar GPA/stats?

Hey I just got my unofficial transcript loaded (which I assume means I got in)

I am out of state with a

3.36 (Unweighted GPA)
26 ACT

i got a 3.29 gpa (3.35 with senior year 1st semester) with 2110 SAT and taken 4 ap courses which is pretty good for my high school. im OOS. haven't heard yet either. unless you are in state, i think we're in the same boat. lets hope for the best! sick of waiting :[

i know someone who took hard classes with a 2.9 gpa and low SATs and got in today

Well thats some good news I guess. I am in state by the way though

I have the same stats as you but I haven't heard back yet.

You can def. get in with stats like that. I know people who have, thought they've been in state. I dont know if it makes a difference...

urgh i have a 3.2 UW and 1940 SAT.
i have a very drastic upward trend as well (2.? -> 2.8 -> 3.95) because i was in a different country during my freshman sophomore year and my grades were bad.
i hope we all get in :<

To provide some hope to you, I got in, OOS, with a 3.44 GPA and 1760 SAT. That upward trend looks really good in my opinion.

It is likely you'll get in.
My unnoficial transcript just loaded so i'm assuming i got in. :)
I am from out of state with a 3.28 unweighted high school gpa with sat's: 1630 and i didn't even send in act scores. but i've taken 7 ap classes (pretty good for my high school), about 5 college classes(4.0), i think essays were solid and all my core subjects like math science and english have been honors if not ap.
too bad i think i might not be able to afford out of state tuition. :(

This thread is making me really hopeful!

ya me too. I am starting to get really nervous and its all I can think about :/

I have a 3.2 GPA, and I found out I got into UW today. Although I live in Washington, I have lived here for less than a year, so I was not considered an in state applicant. I transferred schools in the middle of my junior year so my transcript is a little bit messy, but I got great grades in Running Start this year and have a 2270 SAT so I think that played a major role in my acceptance. Given the wide range of people who are accepted, I wouldn’t focus too much on the stats of the small group of applicants who post on this website. Good luck to everyone who hasn’t hear yet.
