Has anyone gotten this letter from UPitt?

I've just received a letter saying that I should forward additional information, specifically my mid-year senior grades.
Is this letter implying that I'm not good enough for UPitt right now, but depending on how good my senior grade is, I could possibly get in???? Has UPitt rejected any students yet? Or does UPitt sends this letter to all of whom do not qualify its admissions?
Since UPitt requested an additional info, I won't get decisions until I send my mid-year grades?

My friend in school got that. Just bring up your grades and you should get a decision by February.

Yeah I got one too, I just sent my first quarter grades in a couple days ago and haven’t heard anything yet, it’s not a bad thing it means that you have potential to be a student there.

It’s basically a deferral. Even if your grades don’t improve, you could still get in. They’re just postponing their decision about you because you are on the edge.
