Are these good books? Anyone used these before?
1,296 ACT Practice Questions (by the Princeton Review)
ACT Assessment- The Very Best Coaching and Study Course for the ACT (by REA)

1296 ACT practice questions was, in my experience, a great book… there are a LOT of errors in the book (add/subtract 5 points… so it gets pretty annoying sometimes) but if you want practice, this is the book to go. (if you are looking for strategy, don’t get this book… absolutely no help on strategy at all… this book is ONLY good if you have exhausted your tests)…

Never heard of the REA book… but I heard from someone else that REA is only good for AP because it goes over too much info… for the ACT, only simple information are needed.

I really like the regular Princeton Review book to learn concepts, but don’t know anything about the Practice Question book. For practice tests though, I would get Real ACT (red book), which has old ACT tests for practice. Definitely check into the PR question book though if run out of practice problems to do. Concerning REA, I don’t know anything about their ACT book, although I do know that their AP test book are pretty good. Good luck.

Is anyone using the 2009 Edition of the Kaplan Premier Program book?
What are your thoughts on that book versus the others?
