My first choice is Bard, but if that falls through financially or acceptance wise, I see a lot of things to like in New Paltz. Also I’ve heard the honors college isn’t too hard to get into, since not many people apply. So that’s a possibility.

I got into both schools and I have a much lower SAT score than you guys (1010/1600) but a bit of a higher GPA (96.35 weighted). I’m sure they’ll accept you.

I’m not sure where yet, still waiting for my other school choices but there is a possibility I’ll go to Oneonta. I’m thinking about visiting both schools in March.

Im visiting in march too!
Oneontas really nice too and I like that they offer a free bus to accepted students day.
I got into geneseo but I’m thinking it’s too rural for me (I’m from NYC) I don’t even know if I’ll visit since it’s so far from me

I’m from New York too, I got accepted to Albany but I’m not sure if I’m going there yet. I got rejected by Stony Brook unfortunately but I wasn’t going to go there anyway, just gave it a shot. Still waiting for Binghamton though it’s a really competitive and hard school so I probably won’t attend there. So basically New Paltz, Oneonta, and Albany are really my only top choices.

Well good luck! I’ll Deff post if I get in or get rejected as soon as I get the letter.
Btw did you ever check your new paltz status online? I heard when you get accepted a week or so before the letter comes links come out on the status check thingy saying to pay your deposit and register for orientation stuff like that. Is it true?

Thanks! And yep, it’ll say “Accepted! What’s Next?” on your application status page and it’ll have a few new links on there, including the deposit link. I saw it there about a week before I got the acceptance letter in the mail. Good Luck! :)

Thanks jasa!
And yeah it should be up tomorrow I checked Thursday and it said it’d be down for the weekend. It actually said it was gonna be up Sunday afternoon but I guess not

Congrats hunterkane and don’t worry lemons, sometimes it really doesn’t matter when you sent yours because all of the applications are mixed up, that’s happening with me too. I’m still waiting for one of my schools which I sent out the same time as Oneonta and New Paltz.
