<p>at any rate, i called nyu last week (i didn't get the 4th e-mail) and somebody from the admissions dept said that all my files were in but it hasnt been reviewed yet.</p>
<p>well, plenty of applicants got accepted into stern already. </p>
<p>so i called them, and explained to the lady my situation, as confusedman did, and she told me that they're not allowed to give out decisions over the phone -_-</p>

<p>I don't know. I called admissions and they said they go out today. Are you sure "penty of applicants" got in? If so, like who?</p>
<p>the member 'ggalage' got accepted last week to stern. and he knows of 5 other people that got accepted to stern as well, if you read the earlier posts in this thread. nyu is just very random with these decision letters and the whole notification process.</p>

<p>Hey all. Just wanted to let you know that I got into Tisch today. Earlier, I went on the home.nyu.edu thing and it gave me my email address and stuff, so I kinda had an inkling, but I called the admissions office today because I have some housing deadlines to meet and the lady told me that they aren't allowed to tell people over the phone but that they've already mailed some "very good news" to me.</p>
<p>Has anyone from Steinhardt heard yet? In particular those who had an audtion, in my case, for Music Business. My audition date was on 4/9 so I'm hoping they are just a little bit behind because I'm having no luck with trying to get my NYU email address etc.</p>

<p>For all those who haven't heard from NYU: there's still hope! Don't get your hopes down guys...from what I've gathered, not a lot of people have heard thus far. Those who have are few, but lucky. AND...according to the website, we'll start hearing May 1st, throughout the month, and possibly into June. I know how everyone feels, believe me, but keep your head up! Good luck to everyone still waiting! =)</p>
