<p>My Financial aid packet was sent out yesterday they said. I'm not going to be home until about Friday night and I realllllly don't want my parents reading it before me. Is there anyway i could access that info online from NYU. They couldn't do it over the phone.</p>

<p>I called the office of financial aid and they ask for your student ID number that begins with N, just say you were wondering if it's be sent out yet.</p>

<p>i just called NYU and they told me that my college transcript was missing (i sent it 2 moths ago!). The lady said that i could send it by fax though and would hear back somewhere in mid-May.</p>

<p>hey guys i just got a weird email...i applied to cas for psych but i just go an email from an admissions officer giving information about steinhardt applied pscyh and stating that i can choose which to have my application considered for...</p>
<p>what does this mean!?? is steinhardt easier to get into or something? am i not a good candidate for cas but a better one for steinhardt?? what should i do? </p>

<p>maybe you should just let them consider your application for steinhardt. my guess is that you'll be admitted if you do? i dunno. but it seems like if you wanna go to nyu, you should do what they suggest.</p>
<p>well i dunno..they didnt exactly suggest it? they just kind of gave me info about it and told me i could decide.</p>
<p>plus i wrote a lot in my essay about specific things that only apply to the CAS psych...so im not sure if i could even get in for steinhardt?</p>

I received the same e-mail about Steinhardt's Applied Psychology program. I e-mailed them back saying that I felt majoring in psychology at CAS might better suit my careeer goals in clinical psychology. However, it did seem like NYU was encouraging Steinhardt over CAS...</p>
<p>yeah, i have to pay $15 for each transcript I request and i applied to 9 schools, so $135 in total... i go to a school in Russia and you know what they do? they require to pay everything in russian rubles and for that they have there own exchange rate, which is 11% higher than the current one! yeah, i want to get out of this school...</p>
