do you think these mid-term reports were a good sign? i mean, do the kids who are asked usually get in or not?..does anyone know?

It might :)

Has anyone heard from NYU during the close of this passing week? Rejections? Acceptances?

so i guess it's confirmed that if you got the NYU net ID AND was able to loggin to nyuhome, then you've been accepted... right?

Sort of. I don't know anyone who has recieved a NYU netID and has not been accepted to the university. Logically, the fact that you have a NYU email address means that you have been admitted to NYU.

Mmafe,

I got accepted to Tisch Drama around May 3rd.

Stats:

GPA 3.84
ACT 32
Extra stuff: Dean's list, honor society, democratic party volunteer, summer day camp assistant, etc.

I don't know how much this will help, though. With Tisch, a lot of it comes down to the artistic review so the test scores and grades probably don't matter as much as for Stern or another school.

True, it does help a bit though...thanks psk87!

I applied and got accepted in the Clive Davis Music Industry program as a transfer in Fall 2006. My packet came last week, now I'm looking into transfer housing. Any help?

Anyone hearing anything today?

anyone get any scholarships? How much did you guys get for scholarships especially stern scholarship? I got 3000 per semester which is a joke.

For all the students who got into stern, do you guys have an @stern.nyu.edu email account? and could you guys activate it in start.stern.nyu.edu??

i just called the admission office, they told me that a decision has been made, and they will mail it to me shortly, she said she can't tell me if i am accepted or not

"All applicants to the university recieve a University ID Number. Therefore, recieving this number is obviously no indication of acceptance."

The university ID number is however different from the NETid number.

yep, it is a totally different thing

of those who can't get a net id -- what are your stats?
