Has anyone heard from NYU?

worldapart, I just new lol

because we had similar stats, both applied to stern as juniors....

u're lucky u already live in NYC; I am an international student besides replying to NYU, i have tones of paperwork to do, and my visa expires this summer so i'll have to renew it

I will be living on campus, do u have any idea where transfer students usually live?

Dammit, I'm so tired of waiting...I just want to know already!

me too me too!!! but i guess it takes time for the letter to reach all the way from NY to california. welll.

Mauritanie: one of NYU's biggest problems is actually the fact that they dont have a centralized campus. As a result, a lot of the student housing is spread around Washington Square to Greenwich Village. The average commute from the NYU housing to campus classrooms are either a 5- 10 minute walk if you live close or a 10 minute shuttle from the farthest dormitories. I will most likelybe commuting by subway (15 minutes)

Ladala: I called NYU May 9th and they said they already made a decision for me. I live in NYC and I got the letter May 13. It was postmarked May 10.
I guess for Californians, you'll receive it late next week. I def feel your frustration/stress/anxiety.

Any good news today - anyone. I applied to CAS, live in NYC and have not yet heard anything!!

Can ANYONE log in to see their financial award? When i try to get my PIN it says " An administrator changed the system configuration while you were logged in. Please close your browser and log in again. "

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Laffy-have you received official notification of your acceptance?

yessssssss, I can login on the home page but i think the financial log in is messed up

i received my decision yesterday!!!!!!!! accepted!!!!! :)...beyond thrilled!

I have just recieved my acceptance. yay!

Anyone else in NYC receive an acceptance over the weekend?

are they sending out letters on the 15th or are we supposed to receive these letters on the 15th.

so now that the admissions portion of this thread is done, lets talk about what computers yall are buying, and what dorm yall are staying in.

(if you didnt hear back, you got rejected)

what ? all those who didnt hear back got rejected?

NYU always denies, but it seems that the university sends out acceptance letters before rejection letters.

enwhywho> i already have a computer, i bought a dell 3 months ago for $1800, and i m hoping i will last at least 2 more years.

Dorm, i don't know yet, where r u gonna be? do they have dorms for transfers? and if u have any useful info about housing plz share it, thanx

hmm it seems like it :T i wouldn't be surprised if i got rejected from stern..

well with wake forest i got a top of the line thinkpad computer free w/ tuition but i had to turn that crap in after i left

soooo im looking at a 2.0 macbook.

yall???? What is that?

What does this mean??

"According to our records you are not eligible at this time to hold an NYU password. As a result, you may not use the ITS Start Service.

Please contact ITS Client Services at 1-212-998-3333 if you feel this information is in error."

Perhaps they have my SS# on file, but I can't acces my NYU ID??
