yay Barnard, collegegirl! I'm going to Harvard, but it was really, really hard turning down Barnard. Have so much fun in Manhattan and Barnard is truly amazing...

Congrats, kaitylin!

Also, congrats to you, For Shaganov! Barnard is a great school and I can't wait for the summer to end, but getting into Harvard is a great accomplishment! I hope you have a wonderful time there!

Hey! I got rejected from NYU, but within the rejection letter, it said that I could send an updated transcript in by Nov. 1st and be considered for Spring 2007 without having to reapply or pay an application fee....did this happen to anyone else??

Congratulations to everyone who got in!

Yeah I got an email saying that same thing about Spring 2007. I was told to email the admissions office back if I wanted to be considered. I did not because I was accepted into my second choice (Umich).

Well it must be nice to hear something. We're nearing the middle of June, and I will have to completely restructure my summer plans on the slight chance that I'm going to NYU next year. I just tried calling: a string of transfers and then a voicemail. Sigh.

i just got accepted into nyu's college of arts and sciences on a full scholarship!!
........just kidding he he!
=]

By the way, if anyone was still waiting, your letter may have been lost. That's what they eventually told me. Supposedly they sent it out in the beginning of May...and it just never came. Sure, NYU.

Would anyone who was accepted to CAS or Gallatin mind posting some stats (esp. where you are now)?

Hi...I don't know if anyone will reply to this but does anyone think it is bad to try to transfer again to NYU? I started at Uconn, now at Umich, and seriously thinking about trying again to transfer to NYU for Spring 2007. I just don't think Umich is the school for me. And as I posted before I was offered some kind of special opportunity from NYU to just send my updated transcripts and do not have to submit another application. Should I give it a shot?

Any suggestions will be helpful.

Thanks

If you really want to go, I say go for it. If you were offered the opportunity, they must see something there.

i am a freshman at wisconsin...i had a 3.1 in high school with a 1960 on my sat's. if i keep my grades at about a 3.5 should i have a good shot at transferring? if not, what do i need to do in order to be accepted?
