So I just filled out the link and they sent me an email …“we look forward to seeing you”… etc.

Does this mean I’m accepted for sure? It would suck to get this and then get the mail and find out I’m rejected.

hey adam its dom. congrats

Hahahhahaa Dominic, so smart. But yeah to everybody it has to be that if it says congrats from this then you’re most likely in because they sent the letters out so they have to have the Internet site set up to be ready for people to accept the offer.

sAfuRos, are you able to sign up for the “Schreyer Honors College Offer Session”?

Yes, despite being rejected i can still register for the offer session, so don’t take that as an indicator of whether or not you are in

sAfuRos, can you try accepting the offer of admissions rather than register for the offer session?
[Admissions Response: Schreyer Honors College](404 Error: Page Not Found - Schreyer Honors College (SHC) at Penn State University)

One of my friends attempted to do that and it said “we have no record of an admissions offer for this account” so I guess that means he got denied

anyone here from nj? i’m anxiously waiting haha

I’m from PA, still haven’t received it yet but expecting it tomorrow (if only there was mail on Sundays!)

I just typed my name and e-mail into that admissions page and got an e-mail saying your acceptance of offer of admission to schreyer has been received, welcome to shcreyer honors college and then my name. I guess I’m in??

I got the same response. So, I guess it’s a no for me ;-(

However, I did hear from Cornell…I’m in to ILR which does rolling adm! Woot!! …This makes the news a bit easier to take.

Getting into Shreyer is REALLY tough.

All the best to everyone waiting to hear!!

so if we accept the offer of admission and it sends us the email, we’re in? and if it says no offer in records, we’re not?

I believe so. How could they send out e-mails confirming acceptance if it wasn’t true?

I’m in Florida. Any idea when I’ll get my letter?! I’m getting nervous!! ):

I logged in and got a “congrats”… But on the other hand, it states that “this webpage is unavailable” …

I live in PA and on saturday my friend got a rejection letter. We live close, but I didn’t get anything yet.

the fact that it says this webpage is unavailable is completely irrelavant to anything. schreyer clearly realize that as they send letters, and e-mails internationally, some people will accept right away, and some people getting “denied” by this process furthers the idea that what it says after you click submit is in reality the truth.

^Agreed. I mean I have a confirmation e-mail welcoming me to the schreyer honors college. I don’t see how that could be wrong. What’s your major madarensie?

Can I do the process above if I’m not sure if I’ll be attending Schreyers yet? Or will it autolock me in?

The hole meaning of the process is for students to accept the offer for the honors college, but I think if you call them later (not 5 days before classes start in August :P) you can explain them that you changed your mind or something like that.
