Has anyone heard from the Mids?

Has anyone heard from Wheelah or any of the other Mids we had running around here last year?

Hi Zaphod!

I hear from my son (ZeroNegligence) daily, thank GOD!!! It's my favorite time of the day! He says time is just flying by! He is with Drum & Bugle so he did'nt get liberty for the first 2 Saturdays and then after last Saturday's football game he had to return to Bancroft to change out of his FDB's and by the time he did that, he had nowhere to go so he logged some extra zzz's (which he needed desperately :>) )

His sponsor family had him over for his 19th B-Day (BOO HOO... I could'nt be there) on Sunday and back again for boating on Monday... they are truly a blessing!

He says classes are hard, but he's received A's on his first 2 essays for English and Gov't. so he is thrilled! Things are still crazy (like last Sat. a.m.'s logging exercise), but he seems just fine and that keeps a Mom happy! He wanted this so much and even though I miss him, I know he's right where he's supposed to be and that puts a smile on my face :>) !!!

He is going to attend the Nay/Stanford football game in CA on the 16th of this month as part of D&B and we are going to meet him there and we are so excited! A big B-Day cake awaits him as well as a bone-crushing hug!!!

It is so beautiful to see these plebes and upperclassmen grow!

Nice report of exciting times! Congrats to your son and his parents.

GO NAVY! BEAT STANFORD!! AND ALL THE REST!!!
