<p>I think in your case blah blah, maybe it ended up in the neighbors Target circular or Newsweek. The GSp kids (for the most part) heard in NJ like last Monday, the acceptances Friday and it seems like the letters of rejection Saturday and yesterday. If your stats are decently strong, I'd assume that NO news (at this point) might be good news...that there was a postage or delivery error. Was everything sent on time? The ED contract and all (without it maybe they thought you were RD????Have your School Counselor
call and be persistant. You're NOT in California so don't be afraid to push them a bit</p>
<p>thanks salem. yeah i'm going to talk to my guidance counselor tomorrow, maybe she can call for me and pull an answer out of admissions.</p>
<p>my stats are strong, and all that. but i applied for photography, which is really hard to get into. i'm expecting a rejection, just because the photo program is so select. however, it's so annoying to be in limbo this long!</p>

<p>LOL @ Toyota! You have a great sense of humor at a time of great stress. You will do great whatever happens with NYU. My son still has not heard here in CA. We were told that he can call the Admissions office tomorrow at noon our time. We are not expecting good news :-( I just wish they could have let him know last week so he could get motivated about other apps.</p>

<p>Rejected in Los Angeles. Son had to call the admissions office to find out. A letter never came :-(</p>

I should call them but I have a concert tomorrow so I won't be able to call them earlier and I can't call them during lunch b/c of the no cell phones rule >.< ughs.
