ugh nothing for me (DC area). i'm leaving tomorrow morning and i won't be back until sunday so hopefully SOMETHING will be here when i get back!

I live in Atlanta and from the time that I submitted my application waaayy back in January to now, I have not hear a THING from NYU..makes me kind of nervous b/c now I wonder if they even have my app...

Long Island, NY and NOTHING!!!!

Md Nothing!!!

MD nothing here too

Nothing here either. I live about an hour away from NYU....

nothing today!!

I just received a letter from them today; I was rejected :(

nope nothing yet ( So Cal)

I wonder if this means we all are gonna be rejected/waitlisted....

(if the whole invitation thing is true)

they're already sending out rejections?? omg now i'm REALLY scared =(

yeah i havent gotten anything..which makes me think that ive gotten rejected... soo i already threw out my nyu sweatshirt in anger haha

Do you think getting offered admission from the waitlist is likely? It seems like there are a considerable amount of accepted students who do not enroll.

That might not be a bad option.

Bubbly088, you should have received a letter by regular mail acknowledging NYU's receipt of your application. My D submitted her app. online January 1st, and her "Thank you for submitting your application . . ." letter was dated January 18th.

Still no official acceptance package (Tennessee), but D got invitation to Admissions Reception for Tisch admitted students. It arrived March 14 by regular mail. The official decisions aren't any later than promised, so there's no reason at all to give up on hearing good news. Best of luck to everyone waiting.

Like 4EVER, I received the invitation/card informing me that I had been admitted, but still haven't received an official acceptance packet yet. I'm in SoCal, so hoping for today or tomorrow.

I just called 'em to ask about my decision, the guy with a sexy voice told me my decision had been "rendered." Gosh they are just so helpful! I wonder if you can be "rendered" if you are waitlisted...

nothing today... I live in norcal.. but i know some kids in my school who already got in, so.....

i have an odd situation... i live in SoCal and go to a performing arts high school where about 6 kids applied to tisch. Nobody has gotten an invitation or any sort of notification about their admission status. Its hard to believe that nyu would reject everyone from my school considering it is a well established performing arts high school with lots of talented kids. I'm hoping for some sort of miracle...nyu is my top choice :-/

Do I have any chance of being admitted???

do you by any chance go to Idyllwild?

haha, just wondering, I really wanted to go there in 7th grade, but then I realized that I will never be an exceptional enough singer to make it on Broadway, so finance it is. ;-)
