Obviously, the courteous assistants work during your time framework. And ,
my local scholarship people tried to call AU on my behalf and were told that no data could be given out.....since I hadn't accepted my packet as yet-- which of course I haven't received and since my fin aid doesn't show info because "they's a mess up with fin aid portal" .........the stars are aways brighter in Texas anyway. Well, folks I'm signing out of the mess---I received a offer from another university that wants me, and, hearing of the AU mess has even personally called me and will pay for a semester in D.C. . I have taken the advice offered days ago by another thread writer and opened another doorway.

That's a pretty nice offer if they school will pay for a semester in DC. Which school are you talking about?

I'm not saying that this is an excuse at all since most colleges are reporting a 5-10% increase in applicants for this year, but maybe the 11% hike in applicants at AU this year has contributed to some of these "mess-ups".

Anyways, good luck at whatever university you are going to be attending. Hopefully, it turns out well for you.

Hey, I was just wondering if I was the only one who hasn't gotten the packet yet? I got the congrats letter from spa, and the univ. college invite thingy, but not the admit packet... we called three times and the last time they said that they would fedex it and it would be here by sat.. which came and went... do you think that they might overnight it for us? or something? my parents actually want the packet before we put down a deposit!

My D hadn't received her packet, so I called last Thursday and it arrived by Fedex today. I'd call again.

Yeah, I did that a week ago- they said we were gonna get it by sat. didn't happen. We have a call in to their fin. aid department and haven't had that returned either. its getting alittle frustrating!
