<p>I read a thread in CC about this book, but I want to re-surface it up. I think the book is too idealistic to be true and I am not sure whether it can be trusted. Any Comments?</p>
<p>I haven’t read the book, but I suppose it’s about going to Harvard 
All I have to say is: if you like the institution, work hard and try it, but be aware of how little the chances are.
If you don’t even know the institution and all you’re thinking about is the name, find a school that matches you and go for it.</p>
<p>It’s very specific and I don’t think that it was designed to be used as a manual to get into harvard; it’s supposed to be inspiring and uplifting but unless you could replicate her unfortunate situation to a T, then there is no advice available to you, if that is what you are asking! :)</p>
