Every UC (save UCB) has sent me some variety of "Thank you for applying to UC(X)!". I want to make sure I'm not the only one who hasn't received a Berkeley conformation. Thanks!

Nope, I haven’t received one yet either

I only applied to UCLA, Cal, and UCSB but the only confirmation email I’ve received is from UCLA.

I applied to Berkeley last year and received the confirmation email from them on January 7th, so I expect you guys to get that email in the next week or two.

Berkeley seems to like being the last UC to send you information regarding your application and admission status, lol. They’re usually also the last UC to reveal admission decisions. I think they like being dramatic or something. :)

Have you noticed @cayton, for the most part (not 100%), the UCs send out admission notices from low tier to high, pretty much in their established order? I noticed that last year. Merced was more iffy. I guess they have bigger dreams, haha.

DEFINITELY a pecking order competition between UCB and UCLA. UCLA - always the bridesmaid, never the bride. :((

@lindyk8

I have. It doesn’t seem like a mere coincidence.

But come on, UCLA is the most popular campus in terms of application numbers. They should save their admissions decisions for last, lol. And UCLA > UCB anyway. ;)

@Cayton

You keep telling yourself that, lol

@cayton It suddenly occurred to me why Merced was so out of alignment re admission decisions. They have that policy if you’re a competitive student who didn’t get in to your desired UC, you were offered enrollment at Merced. So I assume that is a large part if the Merced delay. CASE SOLVED. ~O)

@ocnative

I do my best to be honest to myself and keep the truth in mind. The truth is that UCLA > UCB. =))

Not yet. UCR and UCI sent me one last week but UCB has yet to be heard from.
I’ve heard back from UC(LA,I,SD) waiting to hear back from Berkeley and SB
No email from Berkeley for me yet. I’ve received emails a couple weeks ago from the other two schools I applied to: UCLA and Davis.
Has anyone heard from UC SB or CSUSLO? I’ve gotten e-mails rom UCI,UCSD,UCR,CSULB,Cal Poly Pomona, CSULA.
I haven’t heard from UCSB yet, and I did not apply to SLO
Just received an email from Berkeley around 11AM this morning.
^Yep
@cupoft
Oh cool, exactly one year after I got mine.
@Cayton Haha at least they’re consistent right?
Yeah, I noticed you said Jan 7 and there it was. Synchronicity!
