Hi guys,

Just curious....has anyone received the "Approaching Stanford" papers yet? We live in WA, so I thought they would have gotten here by now, since I read somewhere that they mailed them out May 14....

Hi guys,

Just curious....has anyone received the "Approaching Stanford" papers yet? We live in WA, so I thought they would have gotten here by now, since I read somewhere that they mailed them out May 14....

Son received the package yesterday in Southern Cal.

I got the package yesterday, in NYC. Forms are online in the meantime, though. :)

My S got the package yesterday. He's done with all except the picture. You have to supply your own picture for the id's, etc!

Got it yesterday, I'm not as industrious as gladson, I haven't started it, but I have read the booklet and the IHUM course offerings.

Cervantes: gladson has absolutely no schoolwork left to do (graduates in a week) and the computer program that he was trying to write was just not working, so he just dove in to the forms and got them done.

I was surprised to read that Stanford doesn't tell the kids who their roommates will be ahead of time. You don't find out until you get on campus. In a way that's good. I can foresee kids communicating with prospective roommates and having problems before school even starts.

Thanks for the info....hope we get it in the mail tomorrow! Son's cool about it...

Cheers!

You can access the PDF version here, as well as the required forms.

haha, they mail us three books we have to have read by the time we get there, but we get to discuss with the authors, yay! I think im gonna like stanford.

got it saturday...it's gigantic

Got it yesterday! Nice fat package on the doorstep. Lots of fun stuff to look through....
