Has anyone received physically mailed acceptance packet?

I have not received anything in the mail yet from college, engineering school or scholars yet

My daughter has not either. I’m sure it takes a while to prepare all those mailers!

Same here. Sometimes during the next 2 weeks or so I expect.

Thanks for responding. Just need to wait it out I suppose.

We can report back on this post when we’ve got something in the mail

FWIW, back in 2012, this was the timeline of the dates of snail mail (we received them a few days after the day they were dated - we are OOS):
January 27 Congrats admission to university and Scholars (note only mention of advising college was in online decision, not this first letter/packet)
February 3 Welcome to Scholars
February 8 Congrats admission to A. James Clark School of Engineering
February 21 Merit Scholarship award notification
March 14 Notification of Scholars program assignment
May 16 Engineering orientation notification and process info

Note that these dates are not static from year to year, but hopefully it will give you a sense of the time frame. Obviously, the change to Coalition App this year has changed a lot of things, so it will likely affect the timeline of snail mail as well.

Just checking back in. I did receive my general university acceptance letter in the mail a few weeks ago with the wristband. Still nothing from Engineering school or Scholars program. Has anyone received anything in the mail from accepted school (engineering, business, etc)? Or from program (Honors, Scholars, FIRE, etc). Based on the schedule above either things are running at least 2-3 weeks later or maybe they don’t bother sending additional information in the mail any longer???

No other mail here either. My daughter is also in Engineering (Honors).

Thank you Astro77 for the response

DD received a letter in NY regarding her FIRE acceptance describing the program.

Just got a mailing today inviting DD to pick a scholars program by 2/15. She’s already done so and received her program assignment Monday by email and the coalition app. So the letter dated 2/12 took a long time to arrive!

Yesterday DD got an email confirming her orientation dates, which she registered for about 2-3 weeks ago. We had gotten an original email confirmation, but this one gave a bit more detail about steps she needs to take before coming, like the math placement test and immunization forms. Still no email/letter from her college (BSOS), but maybe they don’t send one?

Have others received a letter or email from the college yet?

I received a mailed letter from Engineering school. The only thing I’m waiting on now is the “welcome” mailing from the director of the Scholars program I was assigned.
